The salient points of the Proceedings in the meeting and the various businesses conducted in the meeting were as follows:
1. The Office bearers of the Association submitted before the members their achievemnts in the Secretary's report
2. The Secretary's report was passed by the members
3. The treasurer submitted the annual report followed by the auditors' audit report
4. The old body was dissolved and the electioneering process for the new body was set in motion by the observers
5. The electioneering for the new body was conducted under the direct supervision of the observers. Elections for the office bearers was unanimous true to the united spirit of the TEOA(I)
6. The newly elected members were made to take the oath of office and some informal discussions for the new body was also discussed
7. The GS of BSNLEA Com Shree G.L. Yogi & the GS of MTNLEA Com Shree Tomar were received and all the members were whole-heartedly welcomed the two top national leaders of telecom movement.
8. The members were addressed by Com Jogi and Com Tomar, both of whom in their address attached top most significance to the unity of all the executives in BSNL as well as in MTNL
