Appeal to all our
Comrades.
Dear Comrades,
You are aware that the BSNL has issued instructions to all
Heads of Circles for
making payment of Rs.2000/- per month w.e.f. October
2000 after obtaining an undertaking from
each of the officers.
In this regard we request all our comrades to maintain patience and not
to
submit the undertaking in haste. The CHQ
is considering the pros and cons of the orders
issued by BSNL. The CHQ is also going to consult our lawyers and also
take the views
of our sister organisation BSNLEA before coming to final
conclusion.
The BSNL in its orders has not fixed any last date for giving the undertaking
for getting the arrears of Rs.2000/- from October 2000 and hence we request all our comrades
to wait up to
15th March 2003 for a final decision from CHQ. Mean while let us make
our agitational programme on
7th March and 13/14th March successful so that greater
pressure
is created on DOT for immediate settlement of our IDA pay
scales.
Please maintain unity. Please stand with
the decision of CHQ and do not
submit the undertaking till further
guidelines from CHQ.
