*** FREEDOM ***

In the past five days, I have received hundreds of emails, many unsolicited, many from business contacts, relating their emotions and thoughts on the events of last Tuesday.
While there are probably no inappropriate sentiments, I am disturbed by the measure of victory that America and the world is willing to concede to those who carried out these crimes.
Freedom is a state of mind._____The degree to which we believe we enjoy it is the degree to which we actually have it!
Have the terrorists taken away our freedom to board a plane without suspicion and fear? The threat is no greater this week than it was last week. The only thing that has changed are the thoughts in our minds. Those thoughts are what produce the fear - not the terrorists. They have always existed and were always capable of doing what they did. And they always will be.
It is up to us to control our own thoughts. The more we ignore them - as we did up until last Tuesday - the less influence they will have. If we succumb to the thoughts they want us to have - who is in control? They are.
In my humble opinion, we should utterly ignore the threat. We had no problem doing that last week, when the threat was no less than it is today.
Sure, lets hunt them down and disassemble them - preferably molecule by molecule - and as painfully and publicly as possible, but lets not give them the satisfaction of generating the terror in our minds that is the entire goal of their actions.
They should generate no more fear in our minds than a bad infestation of termites.
If we cower behind our fear and paranoia - they have won and we have lost the very attitude that has made our country great.
We are great because we have been fearless.
Our fear will make it harder to catch them.
The more they have to sneak around, the less visible they will become.
Lessening security and heightening observation is the way to catch a crook.
And that attitude will infuriate them into doing stupid, careless things that will get them caught.
Yes, we will be in danger - and more will die.
But since when have Americans been afraid to die in the name of Freedom?
If we have collectively "declared war" on these people - then we are all "soldiers" who should be willing to sacrifice our lives for the greater good of the future.
And in the meantime, lets let them know that we are not interested in giving up one iota of our Freedom.
That we are just as confident, if not *more* confident in our ability to live Free and pursue our individual concepts of happiness.
Move forward with our lives, build our businesses, celebrate the good things and plan for greatness - just as we were doing last week.
The only things that have changed is OUR minds. Change them BACK to what they were last week, with the additional attribute of the knowledge that we must erradicate these lethal pests, but withOUT the fear these pests sought to instill!

Freedom is the ability to work when you want to work, to play when you want to play, and to be in complete control of your own environment. True freedom can only be acheived through hard work. True Freedom means both personal & financial, without both you will never be truly FREE!
True Freedom is all the above with these two words added~~"NO FEAR"~~~!!!
We must ALL remain together and abolish terrorism so we can sustain Freedom and have No Fear!
