Stricter penalties for smashes.
This does not apply to smashes on a serve (faults).
1st offense: warning or LOP (depending on severity.)
2nd offense: LOP
3rd offense: LOG
The rulebook has also undergone some changes. First, all of the amendments have been integrated into the body of the rulebook, although they still remain at the end (for reference). Also, some minor parts that were unclear have been clarified.
