I am sitting here typing, with a black cat on my shoulders. I kid you not. Tanya's cat apparently likes to stretch itself out on people's shoulders. I feel slightly hunched over trying to balance the kitty. But he seems quite content being there. :P And ooh he's warm - and it's a bit of a nippy day *G* So I have a really nice scarf now *loL*
I am in Edmonton, Alberta, by the way! I am staying at a Greenie's place (well, sort of former Greenie). She was Tanya al'Kaare here at DM years ago. She is thinking of getting back into DM, but I have a lot of explaining to do before she can even think about it - she has tried several times to get back into it but finds it as daunting as I did when I first tried to get back in. But maybe I can help her get back here *S*
I have 3 more stops after this - Vancouver, Tokyo and Osaka. Then it's home for me. I am quite looking forward to it actually. Ooh. One thing I need to do today is rearrange my other flights. And PM Eriya... Man, it's hard to remember all that I have to do *G* But I manage, somehow.
Just thought I'd stop in with the White Tower as I do at random moments... I have 2 weeks here so I should be here a bit more than I have been! ;)

I'm here again but it's night time and the kitty isn't anywhere in sight. The dog is nearby though. The dog and cat are so funny - the dog likes to put the cat's head in its mouth, and drag it around. The cat doesn't mind. Until it gets sick of it of course - then it hisses and scratches and lets the dog know who wears the pants. But seriously, these animals really get along. And the cat puts up with so much. Earlier today, Tanya's little boy was carrying the cat around like it was a little sack of flour *S* Poor kitty.
Lwena!! You live so close!? Hmm...3 hrs, I know that takes a bit of driving...but maybe I can get down there somehow :) I would love to meet you if you are willing! We are going camping this weekend, but I'm not sure which direction we're heading in *lol* It'd be cool if we were heading YOUR way :)
Anyway...I have 2 weeks here, or so, so maybe we can arrange something? It'd be great if we could! :)

Thanks for the update Taya :) It's nice to hear that you're having good time but I can definately understand why you want to go home already.
*chuckles* You should take a pic of the cat on your shoulder. They get along much better than my cat and dog used to. But they were already old both when they were introduced to each others. *g* And the cat definately was the boss in our house too.
Tell Tanya to check out the White Tower Division page. It's alot easier to approach than DM and a good place to get to know WTers and answers to any questions she might have. *s* And tell her a warm welcome back from me. I remember her and being confused by the similarity of names Taya, Tanya and Tania *g*

*lol* If you remember her, she no doubt remembers you :) She confesses to being totally out of it, but she does say she wants to get back into things, 'cause she misses it. Dunno how fast she'd get back into RPing because it takes a lot of time. But at least she might hang out here a bit, someday soon *G*

As for the animals, well the dog was VERY naughty today. I woke up and went into the kitchen, and guess what I saw? The entire contents of a very full rubbish bin, strewn about all over. Norty doggy got a time out later on when her daddy got home and I reported her misbehaviour to him *lol*
I remember when I first heard of Tanya and I told her something about there being a Tania too. That was before I knew her, though *S*
And Tannie and I were the Gruesome Twosome :P
