Well thank you everyone. Honestly, I wasn't sure what to write so I was waiting for someone else to go first. Now, I have a vague idea after finding out our Declarations are like the things for Accepted. So here goes.
I first found out about DM last summer after my family had moved and before I went off to college. I was pretty bored and didn't know anyone so I searched around on the Internet to find a website about the Wheel of Time. I wanted to find out some news about the series and see if a new book was out that I could pick up. I stumbled upon the message boards and found lots of interesting discussions both about the books and not. I mostly lurked on the Discussion boards, rarely posting until this past March when I decided to see what the Community boards were all about. Needless to say, I met some great people and found it much more interesting than the Discussion boards.
Now I'm happy to say that I've moved up in both the White and Black Towers and been able to stay at least somewhat active over the summer. I still lurk around a lot and even if you don't know me I probably know you. Hopefully that will change a bit when I get back to school.
As for the future...well I don't know. We'll just have to see how it goes. I'm not a natural leader, but I've been known to step up before when it was necessary. More importantly, I'd like to be a nice guy, a good friend, and someone people can count on.
I'd like to give a special thanks to Malone and Eadon. You two make this place so much more lively for me.
