Kazza Erm...what I meant was... Mon May 31, 2004 12:22am

I'm leaving *G* I hate when that happens.

I am going to leave tonight and I need to pack and do other stuff before then. I haven't managed to get the edits done, but Kent I will try my best to do the last few as soon as I can. Sorry about that but there is no helping it now.

I am taking some PoP files with me, namely the AS test, so I can work on it while I am away if I get on someone's computer (not sure you can use Word on public computers).

I will see you guys when I see you I guess :)

Plans and stuff
Mon May 31, 2004 7:44am

Hey,
Don't worry about the edits, we can finish those when you get back! But, just prepared to get back to work when you get back, because I will definitely be eager to get things rolling by then.

As for the test and ceremony, if you could post your test now, we can do the ceremony while you're gone. So, yeah, if you have any time left at all, post the test before you leave.

Anyway, take care and have tons of fun! I wish I was going with you, heeh! I will e-mail you at the pat addy if I need to send you anything. Drop in on the Forum when you get a chance OK? Byyyyyyeeee!

Got your email, and responded :) Unfortunately I didn't get the chance to post anything before I left, as you noticed. But hopefully I will get that chance sometime soon. I just need to have access to a floppy disk drive. Either that or I could try and get mum to access my files and send the relevant one to me *S*

Hey guys!
Fri Jul 2, 2004 6:11am

I am sitting at the airport in Stockholm waiting for the time to board my plane. I am sorry I have been slack with updating you all! I have just been going nonstop or so it feels, and after 3 days in Norway I will be in London, and I will have quite some time there. I will be spending at least a week lazing around at a friend's place up in Coventry so that will be great. I may have time to do some RPing when I am up there! It depends if they have the net or not. I don't think they do, but maybe there is a cheapish internet caf somewhere nearby. Even if it isn't cheap I will still have to come on and check email and stuff *G*

Anyway, Stockholm is a really beautiful place! I highly recommend you visit it if you get the chance, or haven't already! And next on my agenda is Oslo, where I am meeting up with two Greens from Dragonmount. Well, one of them is a half Green and half Brown (there are two parts to DM, community and RP, and she is a Green in the RP, and a Brown on the Comm side). The other is a girl who was a Green years ago, and I met her when I first arrived. SO it will be awesome to meet both of them!

Pity I didn't get to meet up with you Cecilia but it was a nice idea at the time :) There is also another Norwegian DMer I won't get to meet, a BLue sister, but at least I will get to meet someone!

ANyway, so far I am not sure what my favourite part of my travelling has been, but I really have enjoyed Prague and Stockholm. This place is way too expensive though. Ugh!

Turkey was fantastic for prices, and there is a lot to see there. Natural wonders, amazing ruins, etc. ON the Greek island of Santorini I also saw some prehistoric ruins, which I didn't really realise were there, so it was a nice surprise. I didn't have much time on the Greek islands but I had enough to know I need to go back sometime :) I also could spend time on the Greek mainland. I didn't get to spend any there *sniffle*

I am looking forward to some downtime in London. Phew! My aunty is there right now so she should be able to buy me food and stuff *lol* She claims she is rich.

Anyway, can someone please fill me in on what is happening around here? What RPs are going on? Who are the newbies? etc etc. I would like to get to know anyone who is newly arrived! And also I want to keep up to date with what is happening around PoP. Hope you are all doing reasonably well in your everyday lives and that there is good stuff to do online as well!

Updates and Stuff
Fri Jul 2, 2004 5:35pm
Wow,
Sounds like you are having a great time. Thanks for keeping us updated.

The Newsletter should be sent out within a few days, so that will give you the insight on what is going on. Hmm, I just thought of something. The Newsletter will be sent to your farsea addy. Oh well, I'll give you a quick rundown right now of what is going on.

I am working on the Sword page and that should be finished soon. After that, I do some reading and then work on page edits and then it's back in character to finish the Bow page and work on Mastery status for Kabin and Suroh. Also, once I start back in character, I'd like to start some recruiting.

As for RPs, we have three new novices that are working on their intro threads. Two new novices have already been here for a little while, Luvia and Telaya. We also have a couple new Trainees. I don't know if you were here around that time to notice the seven newbies. Anyway, I am just waiting until you get back to do the edits for book two and then we can do the Falme RP. In the meantime, I will just be working on OOC stuff and working with Kabin and Suroh. Also, the Shadow has a couple new Forsaken, so there is a little action over there, nothing super major, but at least the board isn't dead anymore, so that's good.

Well, I guess that's it mostly, except for the fact that Elsbah Sedai did get your summons up on the Lessons board, so when you get a chance, go ahead and post a response with your view of everything up until you step in, and then we will take it from there.

Glad to hear you are having an awesome time! Looking forward to getting you raised! Take care and I look forward to hearing from you soon!

- Kent

Yay!
Fri Jul 30, 2004 2:06am

Thanks for the update :) I am actually feeling quite motivated about getting raised...so maybe I'll manage to post something. Whoever knows!?

I'll do another update post in a while *S*

Are you serious???
Wed Jul 21, 2004 8:25am
You were in Stockholm??? Oh man! Do you know that where I live is pretty close to Stockholm?! Too bad I wasn't there, I could have come up to meet you! But yeah, it's great place, and yes, it is expensive, Sweden is an expensive country to live in I think (especially when you are poor like me! ;) )

Anyway, I just can't belive you were in Sweden and I wasn't around to see you! So we've now managed to no see eachother in Greece and Sweden! I guess the next chance we'll get is when I go to Australia. haha... Like that will ever happen. I've always wanted to go there but I guess I'll have to win the lottery or something to be able to... *sighs*

Anyway, enjoy the rest of your trip!

Kazza

:p

Fri Jul 30, 2004 2:08am

Well I didn't have to win the lottery to get my ticket. I just had to live at home with mum, not pay much board (or any, in the end), and work full time for a while :P It was simple, really.

It is a pity that I missed you there AND in Greece *lol* I would have loved to have met up with someone in Sweden. I did have the chance of meeting a DM guy, but he hadn't been online in ages when I was there so our plans fell through.

Aaaanyway....gonna write another update!

Update again
Fri Jul 30, 2004 2:12am

Hi all. I looked at my last update and at that time I was heading for Norway. I got to meet up with the two Greenies there, and it was fantastic. They were both awesome girls. I have known the Green of old for like 4 years now!! So it was awesome to finally meet her. She bought me dinner and we had a bottle of wine. *S*

AFter that I Headed for London, and travelled around a bit meeting up with friends from Perth who live there (university friends of mine) and also meeting some more DMers. I stayed with a DMer called Owen down in West Sussex, and then after that Headed back to London for a big meeting in which I met um...something like 6 or 7 Greens, and a Red and a White. It was so awesome! Some of them I've also known for 4 years or around about that amount of time.

The Dutch Greens headed back to Holland and I followed 2 days later. I stayed in Leiden with one of them, for one night, then headed to the place I'm at now, in Hoorn. Next I'm going to um...Deventer I think...for the weekend, and then I'll be coming back to Hoorn. Eventually I'll end up in Delft and stay there a while, maybe even till I leave the Netherlands. But I'm quite flexible. Oops, I have to chnage my flight details... I am set to head to Chicago on the 17th but I need to change that to the 28th or something. I'll get around to that...I hope *S*

ANyway...that is it for my current update! I'll try and get some of my AS test done as i am quite motivated.

Oh, and hi to all the new members!! Great to meet you all ;)

The Weaves!
Fri Jul 30, 2004 4:53am

Hey there,
We will take it from there. It will be seven separate posts, so hang in there!

Each post will be one weave and you can respond to each one. I will discuss it with Elsbah Sedia and we will get something up for you soon! I will try to do it as soon as possible, but right now, I still have seven pages I'm trying to finish for the site, so hang in there!

Thanks for the update and I look forward to seeing your Weaving posts!

Hey!
Mon Aug 16, 2004 6:33am

I saw the first post up. I was going to try and post on it but this keyboard is messing up so I may wait until I have access to a different computer, so it isn't a huge struggle to write even a post as long as this one!!! Argh!!
