Hi Trisha,
My dinner thing on Saturday was great. It was a great turn out, and I had a blast, though I did drink a little bit too much and ended up having weird dreams involving me my friend Chris and my parrot visiting Antarctica ;P I'll attach some photos to this email, haven't got the rest off my friend who took them with their digital camera. I'm provisionally enrolled for uni, so now I'm waiting for the paper work so I can go use the library again, and tell the bank to stop charging me fees because I am a student ;P I got Juliana Hatfield's new album, as well as PJ Harvey's new album, and they both rule! I will have to burn copies for you when you get back. Also surprisingly I like The Pixies new single. Must be cost Kim Deal wrote it, so it's kooky and funny and poppy sounding. If they end up touring here again, I'm so going.
Anyhow I better go. I should do some reading for uni or something. I feel really slack.
Talk to you soon

Totally cool pics!! Remind me who those people are again will ya? I may
have met one of them but not sure. Anyway, yes indeed I am in Prague.
still haven't heard from the New Zealander and I think either she spelt
my email wrong so it never got through (she was bad with reading things
properly...for e.g., Canakkale in Turkey, she called "canakky", and
Eminonu she pronounced "emonu"...) or she didn't ever intend to email
because she in reality hates my guts and just pretended to like me *loL*
Could be either!!
I am at a hostel called Hostel Clown and Bard, and I like it a lot more
than the one I was at up until now, called Hostel Sokol. The first one
was run by a bunch of young guys whose entire lives seemed to revolve
around soccer, smoking, and playing a video game. They got a bit annoyed
if you ever dared to actually approach the hostel and want to get
inside because you were, um, STAYING there :) Well that is a slight
exaggeration, but they WERE very impatient with newly arrived customers
while the soccer game between Czech republic and umm, whomever else, was
on! The guy said to me, "That's 350 for the first night, you can pay
the next night tomorrow, but hurry up, the football's on!" And these two
Aussie girls arrived later on, and one of them exclaimed over how rude
the guy who had let her in was. It may have been a different guy to the
one I got - they were all a bit rude when they chose to be *lol*
They never tried to include their guests (well, female guests anyway,
from what I saw) in anything. They shared two bottles of wine and
offered some to a guy who was stayhing there but none to me. So while
they weren't downright rude, they weren't very welcoming and I like this
place better. I was TOLD I would get a dorm bed for 250 kc but when I
got here, I was told I had to have a bed in a room with 6 beds for 350.
But at least it wasn't more expensive than the first place. It isn't
really a huge amount when you convert it to AUD but still, I am on a
tight budget and that pissed me off.
Anyway, I better go and check my other emails. I haven't heard the new
Pixies single, but as you know I like the Pixies, even if I haven't
heard that much of their stuff. Kimmie doesn't have to write their stuff
for me to like it, but I am sure I'll like the new song anyway
considering my opinion of le Breedres :)
So anyway, as I was saying!! I'm gonna go now -glad your party went well,
and ha ha, suffeR! I have no uni work, you have some! Well, reading
anyway! Hah! :)

Hope you are doing well. By now you're probably in Prague having a cool time. Sounds like you had an interesting time in the Greek Isles. If you're after a good book to read on your trip, pick up a copy of Jasper Fforde's 'The Eyre Affair.' It's a shame about you losing the film in the camera, but at least there's a possibility of getting some copies of the photos the New Zealanders took. The same thing happened to my Dad in Prague with his video camera. Luckily my mum was also taking still photos of Prague.
Love Marina :)
