The Tapuach beDvash Ensemble has performed in various Israeli festivals (Festivals of Yiddish culture (2003-2004), Safed and Raanana klezmer festivals(2003-2004-2005), Festival Humoristic (2004) and Klezmer festival (2005) in Tel-Aviv, in Opening Party of "Maccabia 2005" in Ramat Gan, "Main Shtetl" in Ashdod (2005).
The Tapuach be Dvash Ensemble took part in culture events of The Dahan Center (Bar Ilan University) and also in the project of The National Authority for Yiddish Culture: "The Theater of Yiddish Songs" have been created by "Tapuach beDvash" with singer Marina Yakubovich.
In 2005 Tapuach beDvash took part in The 5th International Jewish Theater festival in Leeds (UK),in 2006 Tapuach beDvash has performed in The Festivals of Street Theaters in Linz and Villach (Austria)
The Tapuach beDvash is an Israeli folk group, that now works as The Folk Arts Theatre and includes music groupand folk-dance-school.
It is comprised of professional musicians, all new immigrants from the Soviet Union: Pavel Levin (fiddle), Timur Saitov(guitar), Aleksey Egorov (contrabass-balalaika), Ira Goifeld(clarinet), Anatoly Geyko(the music leader, arrangement's writer, accordion, ethnic wind and percussion instruments).
Tapuach be Dvash presents a new view of traditional Jewish folklore music from all parts of the world where Jewish culture has existed and Yiddish songs. Also Gypsy, Ukrainian, Romanian, Russian, Balkan, Greek folk and Oriental music are in the repertoire of the band. A specialty of the band is authentic sounds and use of interesting ethnic instruments, including ocarina, kaval, nei, fluier, tilinka, Russian spoons, and darbuka. The experiments of sound combinations make this folk tunes as attractive now as they were many years ago and form original style of the band.
