It has been a month. I am a terrible blogger. I just can't get the hang of posting everyday. I never kept a diary or journal before, and I'm finding it really takes dicipline. and commitment. to keep a blog updated. So my hat is off to any faithful blogger.

I should tell you that my grandson David is fine. Just took awhile to heal. This 100 degree heat wave isn't helping his asthma but his ankle has healed...

I am going to try to at least post once a week but with school starting Sept. 4, who knows?

My 11th wedding anniversary is Sept. 9. Sometimes it doesn't seem possible that it has been that long, and other times it seems we have always been together. This is a second marriage for me and third for him. If I had stayed married to my first husband, we would have been married for thirty years this past June. Together we have 2 children and 6 grandchildren. My ex mother in law passed away last Wednesday. It is so sad. I knew her so much better than I know my husbands mother. I loved her very much. She had such a significant impact on my life. She taught me so much of what I know. She will be missed.
