Not a lot going on. It's hot, muggy, and steamy outside. We have rain on the way and the flies are biting.

I finished all my paperwork at the school and it's official! I begin classes Sept. 3rd. I think I'm the oldest student in the class. That worries me some. But I'm a firm believer that you CAN teach an old dog new tricks. Wish me luck folks, It may be my last attempt to change things.

Maggie and I watched a deer, drink water from the pool this morning. I was getting a cup of coffee and looked out the window just as it hoisted it's front hoof over the rim of the pool. It just leaned in and drank forever. They don't lap at the water like a dog. They just seem to suck it in. I was amazed. Maggie has learned to be quiet, although she did growl very quietly a few times. I only wish I had taken a picture. My battery died on my camera and with an injured radiator, I haven't been anywhere to get a new one. Mike say's it's fixed. but I'm not buying it. Not until he test drives it and shows me it's ok.
