The
apartment has energy efficient lightbulbs
and appliances. Nothing has had to be fixed since it is new.
Both the
kitchen and bathrooms have gorgeous granite countertops.
Hand-laid hardwood floors span the entire apartment. Double-paned windows prevent you from hearing outside noise.
In addition, the bedrooms are located in the back. DSL is connected all throughout the building so you can ditch your ISP.
There are plenty of closets throughout the apartment. In addition to all this, there is a large outdoor patio connected
to the building. Our very pleasant and attentive landlord lives upstairs. The apartment has an intercom and gated entrance.
Spectacular? You bet!
There is street parking, difficulty varies according to time of day and day of the week. Parking is pretty easy and
definitely the easiest you will find in the city. Chinatown produce-stands, bakeries, banks, bubble tea shops, and
restaurants are
all within 10 minutes walk. Walk or take the N-Judah to the wonderful shops,
restaurants, and bars
located at 9th and Irving. You can walk to Golden Gate Park in 20 minutes.
Your bedroom:

The bedroom is unfurnished, spacious, has hand laid hardwood floors and deep, mirrored, sliding closets.
Room has both DSL and phone ports.
Appliances/common goods:

Washer/dryer and dishwasher in the apartment, a true rarity in the City. Do your laundry whenever you want!
There is a gas-fired stove. We have set up the living room/dining room with some nice furniture and home theater.
Bathroom:

You will share a bathroom with one woman.
Overnight guests:
Overnight guests are ok (provided the roommates are informed in advance). Additional roommates are not.
Minimal impact on common facilities is ideal.
Parties:
We do not host anything more raucous than a dinner party/potluck. We generally attend other people's parties.
The landlord lives upstairs.We get along with him very well and do not want to mess that up.
Neighbors:
There are a total of three units in this building. The landlord lives above us and is friendly and respectful.
A thirty-something professional couple lives below us.
Drugs:
No illegal drugs in the apartment - not 420 friendly.
Smoking:
No smoking in the apartment.
Pets:
No pets allowed in the apartment.
Food:
We're omnivores. Historically, we have kept our food separate.
From time to time, we'll share baked goods and meals.
Alcohol:
No alcoholics. We occasionally enjoy a glass of wine.
Cable TV/satellite:
We have standard cable.

Debbie is a 33 year old computer consultant.
When not working, she enjoys swing dancing, improv comedy,
theater, and running.
Heather is a 28 year old software developer. She enjoys tennis, kayaking, and windsurfing.
