As you gaze at the bright full moon
Life pulses through your viens
The loud crunch of bones..
Twisting your dark shape
The soft, pale twists of wolfbane
squeezes your beating heart
causing unbelievable pain...
It's torture...
Running through your dark forest home
You seek prey
Longing for the wild adrenaline filled chase..
You change
Throwing your pelt on
Running back towards your world of comfort
Running back in to the mysterious woods
You howl
You howl for the ancient running grounds
Instead of this pathetic small clump of trees
You howl for your kind, the loups-garoux
For the sadness your kind feels for the humans..
The pity you feel, for they still have their soft, immutable flesh..
The incomplete humans
Who only have one skin
A pentagram burns in your eyes
Marking your victims
A grinding pain
Is writhing in your stomache
The crunch of bones proclaims the change's start
Pirate of the flesh
Throw back your head and part your jowls
To sing a lunar song
The forest paths are dark
The night is long
Drunk with your wild side
You long for the Goddess, the Lady Moon to bless you
You long for the old days,
When humans were spread apart and the forests were plentiful
As the rising sun dances in your yellow eyes
You head home
You shed your pelt
And the crunch of bones if once heard again
You gaze back at the disappearing moon
A pentagram glows in your eyes again...
