You will search the Internet to look for relevant information about the conic section assigned to you. You will also gather data concerning the history and properties of the curve and present it through a Power point presentation. You will look for the applications of the curve in real life (at least three applications), you can look on the Internet or interview engineers, architects, designers, etc. about these applications. Then, you will document the application that you have found or gathered (as much as possible with pictures) and make a reflection about each applications. You will also be given problems to solve about the conic section assigned to you and these should be included in your presentation. The final product will be saved in a compact disc and will be showcased to the class when the entire task has been accomplished.
