Islamic Hotel A Welcoming Sight In Malaysia
photo

I once stayed in a hotel in Kuala Lumpur it was a five star hotel (name undisclosed) as expected I enjoyed a quality and luxury taste with other visitors and tourists. My stay there was enjoyable until I saw some scantily-clad ladies hanging around the hotel lobby whistling at me and approached me soliciting for sex. Later I found out they were prostitutes from a neighbouring country suddenly my enjoyable stay turned into nightmare. I'm afraid some wholesome visitors and tourists like me will be offended by this unwanted advances and shun away from visiting Malaysia.

Since our country are based on Islamic Hadhari the advent of Islamic Hotel is a welcoming sight and reflect true Islamic characteristic of Malaysia. An Islamic concept hotel shall bear such characteristic features like separate swimming pools for men and women plus a Koran is placed in every rooms together with prayer mats with the qiblat sign clearly shown to make it easier for Muslim to pray. In my stay at the local hotel I find such features lacking and it's embarassing to know that our local hotels aren't islamic friendly. For instances unmarried couples can easily booked a room in Malaysia without interference from the hotel management.

It's suggested a religious officer is placed in every local hotels to hindered close proximity and adulteries not to mention the numerous sins. It's nice if the hotels are equiped with a small mosque or surau for the convenient of the Muslim.

It sure will be nice that all Malaysian hotel turn into an Islamic hotel after all we lived in an Islamic country with Hadhari concept firmly in mind.

I totally agree with you there should be a viable scrutiny in all of the hotels in Malaysia to curb sinful acts.
