Budget Air is it really safe?
photo

Nowadays people likes to travel by air than ever before mainly because travelling by air is more cheaper than driving your car or even sailing in a ship out in the open sea. The mushrooming of budget airlines all over the world had made it affordable for ordinary people like me to travel by airways nowadays. It cost RM9.90 to travel to London from Malaysia comparable to RM999.90 to travel here to Thailand driving our car with the petrol hike, tolls, repairs and all.

But is it safe to travel by air? Is there any credibility and quality with this new budget airline? Recently I travel to Langkawi with AirAsia a newly formed Malaysian budget airline I found the treatment distasteful much worse than boarding a bus express I was only served three peanuts while on board. Furthermore as I arrived there's a storm brewing but the flight captain just ignored the warning and flew over the storm impervious to the safety of the passengers on board. After waiting in the airport for the storm to subside I can still some AirAsia airplanes still hovering in the airs whereas the other carrier like MAS don't seem to be insight. At first I doubt it whether I can get a value-for-money with budget airlines but comes to think of it I'm lucky to be alive considering it was level three storms hitting Langkawi at the time.

It's good that budget airlines gave seasonal airlines like MAS a run for the money but at what cost? Our lives for the few hundreads saved travelling in such airline, you think about it which is more important lives or money saved? I don't want Malaysian to suffered like what happened to the Indonesian budget airlines AdamAir crashed simply because the company is on a budget and only wanted to make a quick profit disregarding for the passenger safety. I'd not travel in a budget airline if anyone gave me a million buck not that I'm a fussy traveller but I value for my life.
