A Malaysian race or 'Bangsa Malaysia' doesn't mean a triumphant race

As Malaysia reach closer to it's 50th birthday marks the 32nd anniversary of the death of my grandpa The Tunku Laksamana of Kedah Tunku Kassim Ibni Sultan Abdul Hamid Halim Shah, the need to formed a Malaysian race consisting a mixed of the multi-ethnicities in Malaysia arose that's what some of the leaders thought. The idea cropped up as the government viewed that the people in this country not cultural integrated to form one Malaysian identity and they believe that the mixed marriage between Malays, Indian and Chinese might solve the identity crisis.

Is it wise to forced or encouraged the different races in the country to tie the knot so that a Malaysian identity might be nurtured with the birth of the so called 'Bangsa Malaysia' babies? The idea of a 'Bangsa Malaysia maybe far fetch as the different ethnics in Malaysia still not ready to accept each other and asimilate not when marriage is concerned.

The forming of the so called 'Bangsa Malaysia' doesn't ensure instant success for the country what is needed is a united Malaysia where different races can cooperate with each other that's important not some dream of a 'Bangsa Malaysia' that remain a dream for now. Just like my dream of seeing my grandpa the Tunku Laksamana of Kedah Tunku Kassim ever become a reality.
