My late great grandpa, Sultan Abdul Hamid Halim Shah the ruler of Kedah in the 19 centuries. He's said to be a fair and kind ruler likened by his subjects. His eldest son Tunku Badlishah (my namesake) is the next ruler of Kedah with the title Sultan Badlishah (the father of the current Sultan of Kedah, Sultan Abdul Halim) whereas my grandpa the third son, Tunku Kassim became the Tunku Laksamana adored by his loyal servants for his strict but lively approached to life. Tunku Kassim is the founder of the Silat Gayung Patani in Malaysia he's also the District Officer for Kuala Muda and fathered more than 30 children including my father Tunku Adnan.
