We Malaysian live in the age of technology advancement and cultural development but our thinking seems to be lagging behind we still not free of colonization especially when it comes to our contemplation of life. 

Our father of independence Tunku Abdul Rahman which happens to be my distance grandpa liberated Malaysia from the clutches of the Brits but is it worthwhile? Considering the fact that the majority of Malaysian mentally undeveloped the thought of being under control by the British seems not so bad at all.

The Malays especially do not have the desire to succeed yeah we tend to see the ocassional conquering of the world but is that what we Malays need? What we lack is racial building and economic prowess we depends mostly on the Chinese to charted our growth the Malays involvement in the economy is shameful. Our youth tend to be interested in remp it (illegal racing) where as the government should harness this useless energy for economic prosperity undependable of the illegal immigrants. Mentally the Malay youths lack the motivation to succeed like their Chinese counterparts who contribute significantly towards development.

My late grandpa vision of a Malaysian independence seems to be a mirage in a global oasis if the mindset of Malaysian remained the same. Together now Malaysian rise up to the challenge and make Vision 2020 a reality.
