On the road again. Traveling up to Sacramento for a quick training turnaround. Beautiful day for a drive, but that is a long boring haul up interstate 5. Had some interesting ideas for a web business that I need to talk to the G's about. I gotta love the new connection through my verizon wireless, pretty fast and very reliable. I am sitting and typing this at the rest stop right before the 580 turn off to San Francisco. Kinda boring, I know but I am trying to get used to making at least one entry every day.

Well, a little road adventure when I got to the hotel. It seems that the power supply for my laptop decided to stop working at around 8:30pm. Disaster!! I have a class at 7am that I needed my computer presentation for, so I jumped in the truck and made a mad dash for the store. Luckily I made it to the local Fry's and was able to find a universal replacement. It always amazes me how little the employees at these big box electronics stores know. I asked if they had power supplies for laptop computers, and had 4 different employees direct me to the flashlight battery section. I finally found the power adaptors on my own, (in the laptop accessory dept. Go figure!), but none of the guys in the computer department could tell me if any were compatible with my computer. Luckily I was able to go to the manufacturers website on my cell phone and find the info, again on my own. I feel like I should get a discount for doing their jobs for them. Yeah, right!
