What a great new series from Charlaine Harris.  I give it 5 out of 5 stars.  I can hardly wait until Grave Suprise comes out (book 2).



The main character Harper Connelly can find dead people. She's has the ability to feel the vibrations of the dead and feels/sees how they died including the last few seconds before death. However, she cannot see who killed them if they were murdered.  She uses her skills for both personal profit and as part of police forensic investigations. Most of the time the people who hired her do not want to hear what Harper has to tell them.



A supporting character is her stepbrother Tolliver. I am looking forward to seeing how this relationship develops in future novels.
