I finished reading the Poet of Loch Ness Friday Night (October 27, 2006).  I really wanted to like this book.  I could not get into it.  The storyline was okay, but I found it to be too cluttered with literary tidbits.  Too much description of the landscape.  The Poet is a story of true love against huge odds and wanting what is best for the person you love dispite your own wants and needs.  This message was bogged down by poetry and pretty words.  Just not my kind of novel.
