The renowned Vedic scholar Shri Kamal Narayan Seetha who was born in a family having devotion to Lord Shiva & Lord Rama founded Rudra Centre. As his hobby of collecting Rudraksha beads from all over the world led him to experience miraculous results and wonderful effects of rudraksha power, he decided to share this with common people. A graduate chemical engineer with distinguished career Shri Kamal Narayan Seetha organized first ever exhibition in the world of Rudraksha at Nagpur and thus started a legendry work of exposing the power bead for the benefit of the people.
Ms Neeta B.Sc (Computer Science) , MCA (Delhi University) took over as chief executive of Rudra Centre in the year 1999 and has taken Rudra Centre to the present Heights by her dedication, careful selection and recommendation of the beads with the divine blessing of the lord Shiva .She is revered by her admirers from all over the world and is undoubtedly expert in the field. Presentation of combination rudraksha, simplifying rudraksha as per Rashi and Nakshatra and introduction of pure and authentic Puja Items and gems are her commendable achievements .A modern lady with westernized living is now a transformed divine sister or mother for her admirers within India and world over.
Shri Tanay Seetha graduated in electrical engg. in the year 1992 and worked in Indian and multinational companies in Indonesia for 6 years and then started Rudra life in Mumbai with close association with Rudra Centre and is now a popular rudraksha therapist in Mumbai. Several personalities from business ,film and other areas have come in contact with him and have been immensely benefited by his recommendations and astrological knowledge. As a practical modern and educated person his contribution in popularizing rudraksha is immense and he is a widely known personality in Mumbai. About Rudraksha & Astrology

According to yogis and astrologers , Rudraksha are very influential in removing bad effects of the planets. Gems are used specially for removing the bad effects of planets . But if they are unable to pacify the evil influence, it is most advisable to wear Rudraksha described in the following lines. Then not only planets are pacified but comfort and pleasure also come to its wearer and he becomes a favorite of Lord Shiva. Therefore a man must know which Rudraksha will be useful to him.
1 mukhi and 12 mukhi
Both these mukhis are represented by Sun or Surya the center of the Solar system around which all the planets revolve. These mukhis effectively control the malefic effects of Sun. Astrologically they are said to cure the malefic effects of Sun in Physical level such as Diseases of Right eye,Head ache,ear ailments ,Bowel problems, Bone weakness etc and in the spiritual level such as lack of Confidence, Charisma ,Personal power, leadership qualities and Prosperity. The Sun is pleased with the wearer and any obstacles in his path to lead a rich and powerful life is removed
2 Mukhi
The ruling planet is moon. They effectively control the malefic effects of Moon such as diseases of Left eye, kidney, intestine in physical level and in the spiritual level such as lack of harmony in relationship etc.
3 Mukhi
The ruling planet is Mars which astrologically represent Agni or fire. Malefic effects are disease of blood, blood pressure, weakness, disturbed menstrual cycle, kidney etc .in the physical level and in the spiritual level such as Depression, negative feelings, Guilt feelings, Inferiority complexes etc.
4 Mukhi
The ruling planet is Mercury . In mythology this represents Goddess Saraswati and Brahma. . Malefic effects of mercury include intellectual dullness of mind, lack of grasping and understanding power, difficulty in effective communication and also neurotic conditions of mind. This Mukhi nullifies the malefic effects of mercury and pleases Goddess Saraswati. This mukhi also governs logical and concrete and structural thinking.
5 Mukhi
The ruling planet is Jupiter. This planet governs knowledge and glamour , bone-marrow , liver, feet , thigh , religion , money and material . Malefic effect of Jupiter is considered to cause lack of peace of mind, utter poverty, lack of harmony , diseases of fat , Kidney , thigh , ear ., diabetes etc . This mukhi is therefore suggested to sublimate the malefic effects of Jupiter .
6 Mukhi
It�s ruling planet is venus. Venus governs Genital organs Throat, Valor , Sexual pleasure, Love , Music etc. It�s malefic effects can cause diseases and problems in above .
7 Mukhi
This mukhi governs Saturn .This mukhi sublimates the malefic effects of Shani such as Disease & Death occurring suddenly without any cause ,impotency ,cold , obstruction, hopelessness, Despair, delay in achievements, long time disease ,scarcity ,worry etc.
8 Mukhi
Ruling planet is Rahu hence helpful in sublimating the malefic effects of Rahu. It�s malefic effects are similar to that of Shani or Saturn as in 7 mukhi . It is held responsible for causing sudden effects , diseases of lung , feet , skin , eye catarrhisis, hydrocel , airtracia etc . Snake bites are also the result of malefic effects of Rahu .
9 Mukhi
The ruling planet is Ketu which is a shadow planet like Rahu and it resembles Mars ..This mukhi is beneficial to sublimate the ill effects of Ketu . Ketu inflicts the diseases of lung, fever , eye-pain , bowel pain , skin disease , body pain etc .
10 Mukhi
This mukhi has no ruling planets and is held to control all planets .The wearer gets a sense of security.
11 Mukhi
Has no particular ruling planet. It induces courage and confidence in the wearer to leads an adventurous life. Also helpful in meditation and removes problem of Yogic practices .
12 Mukhi
Ruling planet is Sun. Effects as mentioned initially effect as for 1 mukhi

Rudraksha Properties

The term Rudraksha (Rudra i.e. Shiva + aksha i.e. eye) literally stands for the eyes of Lord Shiva or Rudra implying thereby that it was pleasant to the eyes of Lord Shiva, and hence so named in His honour. This reveals that the merit of Rudraksha beads were realized first by Lord Shiva Himself and He handed down the same to the benefit of the later generations.
Rudraksha beads are a plant product, containing carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, oxygen and trace elements in combined form. The percentage compositions of their gaseous elements was determined by C-H-N Analyzer and by Gas chromatography.The result shows that Rudraksha beads consist of 50.031 % carbon, 0.95% nitrogen, 17.897% hydrogen and 30.53% oxygen.
In the medicinal and botanical world, Rudraksha is the purest, the most effective, useful, ancient thing which is the most popular too. It is a fruit as well as a seed . Its origin place is in Malaya, India, Java & Sumatra (Indonesia) Burma and Nepal. Rudraksha is the fruit of a tree.It grows in bunches.They bloom in May, June and ripen in September to November. It's fruit is light green in colour. It is circular like gular (fruit of banyan tree).
Its pulp is hard and remains stuck to its seed. It is like blackberry.It is kept in water for a number of days and then Rudraksha is taken out after peeling off the pulp.
It's kinds are four, according to Mythological books-Brahmin, Kshatriya, Vaishya and Shoodra.Its division is not based on caste system but it is based on their ability to wear. But the wearing of Rudraksha of different colours by different persons are not compulsory.Even Ladies are allowed to wear Rudraksha. The original whitish colour of Rudraksha is dyed into orange colour which is a symbolic colour of the saints and sanyasees.Orange colour Rudraksha becomes useful to all kinds of men of any age, caste, sect, religion and sex and according to one's liking for its size, colour or face (Mukh-line).

Identifying Genuine Rudraksha

It is not very difficult to recognize a real Rudraksha. On account of its increasing importance and price, it is made artificially also and these artificial Rudrakshas are also being sold in market.
Artificial Rudraksha is often made from the wild berry seeds or nuts.But in these artificial Rudraksha, no facet can be made as real as the ones that are in the genuine ones and can easily be detected by an experienced eye .Here the facet (Mukhi) means deep lining from the upper part to the lower part of Rudraksha. Looking at these deep linings-facets one can recognize real Rudraksha.
There are many other criteria written to recognize
Rudraksha, such as the sinking and floating of Rudraksha in the water and revolving between two coins. But it is not a correct criterion. Even an unripe but genuine Rudraksha may float in the water , and a non genuine ones made out of wood impregnated with lead may sink .Therefore, we should not bother about these suspicions and false notions.
Rudraksha should be bought seeing the visible faces/facets/lines of the bead from a genuine supplier. Generally there are various numbers of faces on a Rudraksha, from one faced to sixteen faced. .Generally five faced Rudraksha are found easily and abundantly.
One faced Rudraksha round variety is found very rarely and its price is also too much. Most of these beads being circulated are fake ones made from berries and betel nuts and Areca nuts .Some have a stem implanted in them artificially to give a real
look . Some Giant sized beads are sold as 1 mukhis which are manufactured ones .
Some suppliers sell fake 1 mukhis which have Serpent, Trishul , Lingam etc., carved on them . These are also fakes .
A real Rudraksha does not have these markings. Rudraksha having 2,3,4,6,7, or 8 faces is found very often but its price is more than the five faced Rudraksha's.
Fake Rudraksha are generally found in very high mukhi beads also , like 21 mukhi , where artificial lines are carved on nuts. Also some unscrupulous suppliers fake the Gauri Shankar Rudraksha by gluing together two Rudraksha beads . But these can be again detected by little experience and awareness.
Please note that the idea of informing about Fake Rudraksha is not to scare away people, but to make them aware. Generally Rudraksha sold are genuine as they are available in plenty naturally.
It is only in the case of rare Rudraksha that fakes are sold to satisfy the increasing demand by unscrupulous people.
It is to be noted that the market price of Rudraksha does not affect its religious or spiritual importance or medicinal value. Thus there is no link or connection between the price of Rudraksha and its religious, spirituals and medicinal importance. It has also many sizes and shapes. Its
seeds are often round but exceptionally they are found long, semi circular, convex and flat.
There is a variety of Rudraksha which is convex and flat . These are not from Nepal and are called Bhadraksha and are considered inferior to Rudraksha.
Rudraksha are available in big as well as small sizes.Big Rudrakshas are easily available but small ones are found in less number.The smallest Rudraksha has the size equal to black pepper. Its gradually bigger sizes are equal to big peas, plum and amla.
It is believed that the mala of the smallest beads is better than that of any other size.It is also very easy to wear but it is difficult to find. Therefore, its price is very dear.It is very uncomfortable to wear the mala of big beads but it is comfortable when it is used to count mantras (performing Japa).
Big sized Rudraksha are generally kept in Prayer rooms . As lightening arresters are installed in buildings to save them from lighting, Rudraksha protects the body from outside influences, mental shocks, heart problems and stress. The electro-magnetic waves in the life form may be responsible for amazing powers of Rudraksha discovered several thousand years ago.
