Some believe that Black Hole was related to the 1979 Walt Disney film of the same name. There may have been inspiration but there was certainly no license agreement. Black holes were a thing of interest at this time thanks also to TV programmes such as Carl Sagan's "Cosmos".  BH has been in the movies though as a silverball extra:

BH is seen in the Elsinore Brewery cafeteria (pic. right)."Next Of Kin" (1989), with Patrick Swayze, Liam Neeson, Helen Hunt, Bill Paxton, Ben Stiller, a Williams Gorgar and a Bally Kiss.
 BH was just one of the games featured in Sony's Playstation 2 game "Pinball Hall of Fame: The Gottlieb Collection", licensed by Gottlieb Development LLC. Judging by the screenshot (pic. left) of the playfield though it's not exactly light years ahead of pin-mame.
