Our mission is to save the children from the streets. Our Aim is to fulfil all essential needs in every kids life such as shelter, food, education, care, attention and love. Agathians Shelter was founded by Mr.Siva Balan (Brother Siva) in an attempt to rescue 8 boys from an illegal orphanage closed down in 2003.
O B J E C T I V E
In this home of ours, we ensure our children get the basic needs such as shelter, food and education. They are educated to catch up on missed years of schooling we feel that these three are essentials for their basic living Besides, our children have talent and interest in curriculum activities such as music, arts, dance, sports, martial arts, information technologies and also in living skills. Ranging from multimedia tools to carpentry, they are being equipped with skills and hobbies as to develop a positive mind-set in their life. We believe these skillsets are important for them to discover their talents and help them reach their highest potential.
