1) You have described to me another negative consequence, connected to the equine rescue you once managed, can you explain a little more about this and why it was disbanded for this website's viewers? Yes, I ran a small yet honest and effective horse and pony rescue out of my place for years. For awhile I also rescued dogs and cats and I had some connections to larger small animal rescue organizations. So that once a small animal was given adequate preliminary care and stabilization, I would transfer it to a bigger species-specific animal rescue. I never placed any of the small animals outside of larger rescue organizations. Anyway, the horse and pony rescue activity basically consisted of the identification acquisition and rehabilitation of abused, neglected and unwanted horses and ponies. I'd bring them in, two to three at a time, and have the veterinarian out immediately to examine them, run a Coggins blood test on them and sometimes a CBC or even a full blood panel depending on what condition they were in. I'd have their teeth floated, their sheaths cleaned if they were geldings, treat their sicknesses, wounds, and hoof problems in whatever way the vet suggested was best. Then I'd give them vaccinations, booster vaccinations thirty days later, deworm them and booster that too, and put them through usually a couple of weeks of Metamucil to remove the sand they were usually full of. After the first round of Metamucil they would receive Metamucil treatment for seven days once per month. After that I'd get a farrier specialist out to do whatever corrective farrier work was necessary. A lot of these horses had hoof problems, which led to lameness. Once the veterinary work and farrier work was completed I used natural and humane training techniques to further rehabilitate and retrain them. When they were ready to be placed I'd adopt them out to researched and approved homes only.

2) It sounds like your rescue efforts and organization provided some rather extensive services? It definitely did. My vet loved what I was doing so much that he'd try to send adoptive families my way! It was really a phenomenal rescue program, providing not only a safe refuge for these abused and neglected animals, but full medical and farrier treatment, and humane training and rehabilitation. My little ranch was the ideally peaceful and perfectly run place for the rescued horses. And when a horse would become adopted he or she would always leave with a complete medical file and information package that included a book on humane horse handling methods and horse psychology.

3) It seems like you truly enjoyed managing the equine rescue. What happened to cease these equine rescue efforts? I loved the rescue work and it's a terribly needed service. I believe, from extensive personal experience in the business, that the horse is both the most misunderstood and most severely commonly abused domesticated animal. Unfortunately, with the Stalkadillo sicko around my ranch wasn't and still isn't a safe refuge for rescued horses anymore. To me the last thing these animals needed was to be brought to a rescue where they would continue to be abused every time I fell asleep at night or left the house to run errands or whatever due to the stalker's perpetration and perpetual desire to terrorize all available forms of the Easy Pickens.  In this the many abused and neglected horses and ponies that are not being rescued anymore, because I can no longer run a secure ranch, are additional victims of the stalking. This is a great example of what a low-life the A-P is.

4) Do you believe you will be able to resume your equine rescue activities? Not really and certainly not at this time. The current situation, after being out of the business and stalked for over two years, can't support it anymore. And If I did start up again the rescued animals would likely become direct victims of the A-P. This is also why I sent all my private training horses home and cut all ties with my clients. It was another attempt on my part to reduce the number of victims and co-victims.

5) This equine rescue and private training were once your personal livelihood were they not? Yes, that is very true. Other than my college education, the horses business is all I really know how to do. I've got over twenty years of experience in the equine field. This situation with the stalker/A-P has created such a horrible waste of wonderful rescue ability and humane training talent it's unreal. A person such as myself can sort of set up shop elsewhere, or travel and train, but training when it's done right is somewhat of an art form. So to do it differently than what works for you as an individual trainer isn't a good option. But I bet the mere thought of all this damage to his victims just excites the heck out of the A-P. Whatever. I'll just hold onto the idea of Karma and what goes around comes around. If there's any truth to this theory the A-P will eventually pay for his sick crimes in some terrible way.
