The Glare
       "The Glare"

   Peering into the glare
     Whoever's there?
        I can't know
      With weary eyes
       Unwilling to see
     Whoever, Whatever
       Does it matter?
         At this hour
      Within this time
       Of Noon's glare
      Dancing off trees
   Everything's too bright
     My mind can't decipher
       Reflections distant
         Staring as eyes
        Entirely white
          Entirely white
        Peering back at me
       Through the glare
          Whoever's there?
            I can't know
         With weary eyes
       Unwilling to see.
