Shangri-La
"Shangri-La"

Has his journey --
To Shangri-La
Been gracious?
Was it better --
Than any caress
Did it make him --
Feel like a man
More than any --
Woman could
Does it hold him --
In his darkest
Moments of despair
Did it boost him --
Up into grandeur
Was it more --
Than love
Than life
Could ever --
Hope to be
Did it provide --
Him comfort
Against the cold
Did it whisper --
Tender things
Into his ears
Did it call him --
To sweet home
Did it fill him --
Up where he's
Alone & hollow
Did it feed --
His needs
Has it granted --
Him something
To take his Maker
When the time
Calls him there.
