Shadowy
"Shadowy"

There's a nefarious --
Shadowy darkness
Within the brush
So silent now
A glimpsed quiet
After the rains
Falling as dreams
After the rains
Cleansing each grain
Of sand's carpet
Within this space
Washed of soilings
He left behind
His shadow remains
Awaiting his return
Shall he meander
Into this silence
A abject predator
Stalking the peace
The limited repose
Disrupting, Derailing
Enjoying every assault
To the senses --
Of his victims
Shall he return
His shadowy darkness
       Awaits.
