Ming Rene 1982-1997

"Quick! Kit Kat is having her kittens!" So said the little girl who lived 2 doors away in Newtown. Here I was, dressed to the nines, just leaving for a formal function. So I missed the birth of the kittens but early next morning, I inspected them and fell in love with Ming Rene. She just had to come and live with me!

Around the same time, I acquired my first computer, a state of the art, Apple 11+ and created the graphic of Ming. I adopted it as my personal logo. Ming the logo has been adapted over the years but has appeared in various guises on letterheads, invitations, fridge magnets, photos, videos, a jumper, even as part of a mural on the wall of a park.....
