Kayla Nala

Peter Gremlin died a month ago and I couldn't bear the thought of getting another dog but I did some research and eventually decided that I wanted a female kelpie cross to be called Kayla. The very next day I checked the notice board in the rural store (as I always do) while I was buying cow & chook food and there was a six week old pup advertised for sale. Must have been fate!

A quick phone call and I was off to Mooneba to look at a pup. Both of her parents greeted me with licks and tail wags so that was a good sign for the pup's temperament. One look at the pup and Kayla was mine. The parents are both named after characters from "The Lion King" and Kayla looks like her mother so Nala is her middle name. She is black with white points and chest. Her birthday was 28/3/02.
