Today, my sister made me wait for her for about two hours. So there I was sitting in the car, the sun blaring outside, the air-con at the max and the radio blasting.

Luckily I had a book with me. It was a Star Trek: The Next Generation novel, one of my favourites. And somewhere in the book, there was a part where Captain Picard was discussing Philosophy. This brought me back to my university days.

One of my fav subjects in uni was Philosophy.  I found it simply hilarious. These thinkers came out with the wildest ideas. The normal ones are of course about god and the universe ... trying to rationalize the existence of god or his non-existence. The one I like the most is when they ask if we are really here. Do we really see the things we think we see? They say that if there are such things as mirages, then how de we know that everything we see are not just mirages.
