  • 1930 ~ More than 200 delegates from fishing communities come to a meeting in Halifax - led by Fr. Moses Coady.

  • 1931, Angus MacDonald invited Roy F. Bergengren to visit St. Francis to talk about credit unions.

  • 1933 Atlantic Cooperator first published.

  • 1939 Moses Coady publishes Masters of Their Own Destiny.

  • 1930s and 1940s ~ Movement spread through Atlantic Canada and was most productive in this era.
