In the Begining...
Christina Maria Aguilera, Born on the 18th of December 1980 in Staten Island, New York with the proud parents of a military father of Ecuadorian descent and, an Irish-American mother who played violin at age 16 with the Youth Symphony Orchestra. Talent had run through the family. Christina had always had some sort of interest in music. At the age of 5, she had learnt and was able to sing all of the songs to the movie "The Sound Of Music" and was also performing at parties and get-togethers.

When she was six, she started performing at School Talent shows and got the nic name 'Little Girl with a big voice'. At 8, she appeared on Star Search and coming runner-up in place. When she hit 10, She was singing the National Anthem at Football and Rugby games, The youngest singer ever to do so.

Discovering herself
At 12, she joined the ensemble cast of "The New Mickey Mouse Club" Appearing on their local show with the following stars Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake (N*SYNC, Now solo). Christina says, 'It was a great way to grow up. I loved being around kids who had the same passion I did.'

2 Years after that, she got what she was waiting for. She travelled over seas to follow her dreams. After recording, she realsed her first single with Keizo Nakanishi called 'All I Wanna Do'. After that, she returned home to graduate from high school. 'I always wanted to have my own album recorded and released before I graduated high school,' says Christina.

Christina was then asked, in 1998, to sing 'Reflection' for the Disney animated movie 'Mulan' which turned into a Top 15 A/C single. The single went on to garner a Golden Globe Nomination for Best Original Song in a Motion Picture.

Now, after realsing over 10 singles, Christina, Now in 2003, Has her new album 'Stripped' out and is recording new songs and videos every day.
