Announcement!! Sunriver at Mt. Adams ride? Stay tuned!
We will be making the "official announcement" as soon as we get the blessing from our NW AERC Sanctioning Director, Gail Williams, but we wanted to give head's up to all you riders out there waiting to see if the Sunriver ride will GO ON or not! You've seen the incredible amount of snow at our main ridecamp,the Wanoga Snow Park, up towards Mt. Bachelor. Well, after considerable discussion amongst ourselves, and with the blessing of the Resident Trail Queen, Sharon Westergard, we have spoken to Stephanie Irving of the canceled Mt. Adams ride (due to snowpack!) and discussed *merging* our rides on her trails. She was open to the idea, even giving up going to the National Championship Ride and Tie the weekend of June 21st!
If this ride goes off, we have decided to offer all distances, trail ride, LD, 50,75 & 100 miles. Pre-entry is STILL encouraged! Get your entry in folks!
We will need all the help we can get in pulsers, timers, and just general help that is needed at all rides. If you can help, please contact either Steph ([email protected]) or myself and we'll find a place for your capable self! We will be holding a trail clearing "party" on Memorial Day Weekend. If you're able to bring your saw, nippers, gloves and self, to Trout Lake, again, please contact either Steph or myself so we can get coordinated.
