SUNRISE GARDENS
RAINBOW BRIDGE
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

SUZETTE We got Suzette when she was approximately two years old. She was a purebred Miniature Poodle. She grew up with our children. As she got older she couldn't hear like she once did but our little Pepper added a few years of comfort to her life by being her ears. They were very good friends. Suzette was 18 when she left us. |

PEPPER Our little Pepper had been a run away & had a few homes before coming to us. He was such a sweet little guy and ever so smart. He performed many tricks and won many hearts. We were not sure of his age when he came to us but the Vet thought he might be 3 or 4. We often wished he could talk & tell us his past history. They don't come much cuter than you were little buddy. We think of you often and will always miss you. |

MISS PICKLES Pickles was a real sweetheart. We weren't sure if she thought she was a horse or the horses thought they were dogs...they played and groomed and had a wonderful time together. Unfortunately, we live on a very busy highway & Miss Pickles got hit while we believe she was chasing a squirrel. You are always in our thoughts Girl. |

SKIPPY Skippy came to us as a 1 year old. His owners had a baby & couldn't keep him. He was used to being a housecat & we were not sure how he would adjust to being a barn cat but obviously he thrived being the king of the barn. We will miss you buddy. |

CHARM Our little Autumn Charm was only 8 months old when she went to Rainbow Bridge. She developed pneumonia and didn't win the battle. We miss her...she was such a sweet, pretty little girl. |

SUNRISE ESTATES IMA LADY'S MAN
"FRISKY" This beautiful little boy was not much more than 1/2 year old when he went to Rainbow Bridge. He got colic and we couldn't save him. He was such a delightful little boy and we will miss him so much. |

ANNIE (Golden Retriever) Our Annie was loved by all. You rarely saw her without a number of cats following and playing with her. She was the perfect dog in every way. When our kittens mom was killed on the highway, our Annie some how was able to produce milk and nurse them for many months. We believe Annie was 14 or 15 years old when she did this. We have been blessed to have Annie in our family for 4 years and will miss her so very much. |

ELMO (Schnoodle)
May 2, 1995 - May 1, 2007
Our little Elmo took ill and
was diagnosed with cancer just a week ago...He fought hard to stay
with us but unfortunately he could not win this battle. He was a
wonderful little guy, the perfect dog and companion. Friends and
family will certainly miss being welcomed by our little host. We were
blessed to have Elmo in our family for 6 years and he will be missed
beyond words.

We have lost a number of cats to the highway over the years, but unfortunately cats, by nature, do roam. They were all very special to us and we think of them often when looking at photo albums. We are fortunate to still have cats from the original line. They are all so very people friendly and the children love to hold and play with them when visiting.
