IT officials raided cricketer Gautam Gambhir’s house on Wednesday night in connection with the case of tax evasion. Houses and offices of Gambhir’s relatives were also raided.
Sources say that papers related to big investment
and assets were recovered. Gambhirs have business related to textile and merchandise in Delhi and NCR.
The raids continued till late at night. Gambhir, under rest following an injury, was supposedly at home when the raids happened but he refused to comment on the issue and said that “it’s a family problem”.
