I don't like Japanese cars. But a shift level position display
is quite convienent for mind-absent idiots like me. I do feel
the gear position when I am concentrated on driving , but I
do lots of things behind the driving wheel....

About 1 month ago, my tranny got sick. It always happened
when I made a quick turn or a deep kickdown, ' Automatic
Gearbox' appeared on the MFD and 'TC' lit on the dashboard.
But everything became all right after I restarted the engine .

I built a Gear position display, tring to analysis this synptom.
This display shows level position as well as gear position.
But it didn't help much on my tranny's illness, Because the
gearbox seems to be allright after changing the ATF and
removing two pieces of broken thrust washer from the fluid
pan.
