I commend the author for researching thoroughly this topic. However, there are still a number of aspects of quinolone action to be described such as detailed site of binding of quinolones to the enzyme-DNA complex and the enzyme conformation which will occur. Factors necessary for generating DNA double-strand breaks and cell death must be properly defined and discussed. Other studies regarding interaction of quinolones without clear definition  must also be done. The relationship of localizations to DNA complexes has not yet determined therefore, I do suggest for further experiments regarding this matter.  The remarkable continued development of new quinolone compounds will provide us answers to the problems we are dealing with.
