Computer network or data network is two or more computers that are connected with one another for the purpose of communicating data electronically.
Comuters connected in a network can also share Resources along with Data.

Basic Types of Computer Network:

LAN:LAN connects Computers and other peripheral devices in a limited physical area, such as a business office, laboratory, or college campus

WAN:WAN connects Computers and smaller Networks to to larger networks over greater geographic areas, including different continents.
