That's right, just five days after Barry E. Ryan was arrested for sodomy with a six year old, he was beaten up in Riverhead jail in Suffolk County, Long Island. He was supposed to be arraigned in a Suffolk courtroom Friday morning, but he did not show up, because he was in the hospital.
Hopefully this will instill fear in any priest who might consider raping a kid in the future. "Rape a kid, get beat up in jail." John Geoghan raped 150, now he's dead.
