Dan and I met with the engineering firm today at their office in Meadville. I drove up from Pittsburgh and Dan drove over from Cleveland specifically for this meeting. Dan recommended some modifications to the initial draft plan, with the specific goal of keeping costs as low as possible for the Allotment. The engineers hope to submit this draft to the DEP next week and await their feedback. Once we hear back from the DEP, which will hopefully only take a matter of a few weeks, the engineers will incorporate any further changes required by the DEP and then promptly submit the formal and final permit application and engineering specs.
We realize that that process is taking a long time, but we are trying very hard to get it right the first time and avoid any further delays with rejections by the DEP.
