Sandman Won't Come Around Sandman Won't Come Around

Sprinkle the sand into my eyes
Grant me with sleep and be gone with your lies
Black clouds hovering above
I try but I just don't feel the love
Eyelids heavy as can be
You let everybody sleep but me
Do you have some rest that I can borrow?
Help out a life full of sorrow
The hour glass falls and starts to shatter
Hands trembling and teeth chatter
Living life without sleep
The soul left so dark with a hole so deep
How do you find strength to move
When your body just won't get into the groove?
A true friend lends a gentle touch
And helps you with the sleep you need so much
You have to wish a friend can be found
When the Sandman won't come around

This poem was written on another one of those sleepless nights.
