ParadiseParadise

She took me to see paradise
I could not believe the site before my eyes
It took my breath away
I could only hope to see it everyday
Oh it was such beautiful land
We walked down with me, holding her hand
It was my first 4th of July
It was special even though rain was spitting from the sky
All my fears were temporarily lost
Seeing it was worth the cost
I could stay there for hours and hours
Even on the hottest days or ones with rainy showers
The plants look great
And it put me in a happy mental state
I wanted so bad to move there right then and there
And that to me is such a scare
I was afraid she was going to fall
But I was ready to catch her if she was to fall
That special stream
Is the one I've always seen in my dream
Why out of everyone she took me there
Is knowledge of which I am unaware

This poem was written after spending some time at the most beautiful stream I have ever been to while I visited Oregon for the first time. I still don't know why out of everyone she took me there but I guess she has her reasons and it's not like I object anyways.
