I think about the times we've had and wonder if you're thinking the same
It's hard not being able to see you
Touch you, kiss you and hold you
It's hard to get rid of my frown
Anytime I drive past Waterdown
You have left, not for a long time
But a minute apart from you feels like a crime

If these walls could talk the truth would be understood
What I would give to look into those beautiful blue eyes

I would like to send a message on a shooting star
A message that says my thoughts are where you are
With the next night fall that may come
Look up to the brightest star and our thoughts will be one
As the cool gentle breeze blows by
The wind will whisper how much you are missed by this guy
The moon just doesn't look the same without you beside me
The cold air freezes up this lonely heart inside of me
Let me know that you will soon be home
And I will let you know that my thoughts are of you and you alone
The whispering winds keep passing me by
Open up your heart and look for my name is the sky
Until I am able to look into your eyes again and kiss you
The stars will spell out a message letting you know I miss you
I wrote this poem when I was missing the woman that I loved. I meant every word of it and I hope she appreciated it and realizes just how much I cared for her.
