That our love is meant to be
I saw it a long time ago
And I will never let her go
It might take her a long time
But in the end she'll realize it and she'll be mine
It's hard to know
That the person you love is letting you go
It hurts so bad inside
So many tears I've cried
For the time being she is gone
Took my heart and moved on
You can tell I am down
I just can't hide the frown
She was my girl
She was my world
I can't help but feel blue
There's nothing I can do
But tell her I love her
And sit and wait for her
She is letting me go
But my heart will follow her where ever she may go
My heart she has been stealing
And I can't deny that feeling
I can't live as if nothing happened
She left me heartless and saddened
I wrote this poem awhile after my girlfriend had decided to take a break.
