Grey Cup 1999
Grey Cup 1999
They ran onto the field a hungry crew
It's Grey Cup Sunday, yeah they have some feasting to do
They will have the last hurrah
Because you know the Tiger Cats will eat 'em raw
When the helmets clash
You know the Cats will win this Grey Cup bash
You know the Stamps will pay heavy duty
When McManus connects with Flutie
Osbaldiston will kill them with his kicks
And bring us the Cup back like in '86
You know the Stamps will be hurt
When our defense buries them in the turf
The Stampeders will be crying
When we send them flying
Lancaster is hungry and he will be full of tricks
To bring home the cup we haven't held since '86
Calgary is going to sting
Because baby we are going to earn that ring
When the game came to a final stop
We were heavily on top
We killed them in the game
Because a Tiger Cat you will never tame
Hamilton fans lets tip our hats
To the Grey Cup winning Tiger Cats
Now it is time to wine and dine
Because the Cats won it for us, oh yeah baby, in Grey Cup 1999

This poem was written right after the Grey Cup Game in 1999 when I was sitting in the coffee shop still feeling great knowing the Hamilton Tiger Cats won the game.
