I have worked at this location for 6 1/2 years now. I am self-classified as a Utility Clerk. What that means is that I work wherever in the store that they need me the most at the time. I work in many different departments and I guess I can't really call one my "Home" Department.
I have seen so many changes with this place, many names, many bosses, many policies, you name it. Changes aren't always a bad thing it's the way this business works.
This is a display Colin and I created. Colin worked on the cereal and I worked on the Bananas. This started out as a joke between the 2 of us but it really turned out to be a great marketing promotion. Shows you what can happen when 2 smart guys put their heads together.
Co-Workers
Colin - You are my friend. You and I have known each other a very long time and we get along great. I am so glad that you are friends with my dad because it gave me a chance to get to know you better. You are my favourite supervisor at the grocery store without a doubt. I have no problems working with/for you at all. If you ever need any favours just ask. I know you do and the offer will always be on the table.
Dan - You and I don't always see eye to eye but I think that you are a good guy and I would probably get along with you a lot better if you weren't a boss or outside of work. I don't always like the orders you write but I guess I just have to suck it up and live with it.
Kevin - Bud, it is great working with you. Never a dull moment in the store when you are involved. You are a great guy and its a shame that people aren't nicer to you. Just ignore the pricks. Glad I got a chance to go to some football games with you. Had a blast. Anytime you need help with something at work just ask and I will be glad to assist.
Laurel - MOM!!! hehe. I have known you for years and you are one of the most kindest and good hearted person. I really enjoy talking with you and working with you. I still remember the times I would help you cover the deli back in the day when I was a courtesy clerk. You and I always get a long and I am glad I've gotten to know you.
Lise - I miss not having you in produce. We used to have such a blast when we worked together. Hell we always have a blast whether it be at work or outside of the store. Some great memories of times I've shared with you. I wouldn't take any of it back. Well maybe some of the bad stuff but that goes without saying hon. I am really glad I got to know you and I will always remember the times we've had.
Ryan - It's a shame you are leaving us bro. It's been a blast working with you. You are a very funny and very nice guy. You make the time go by quick. We have known each other for a long time and I wouldn't take any of it back. It's just a shame you couldn't stay longer.
Steve - You are my favourite co-worker in produce. We get along great and its always a quick shift when we are working together. We see eye to eye on a lot of things and seem to have the same interests a lot of the time.
