All That's Left Is A Memory
All That's Left Is A Memory
The little things remind you
That I was the one for you
But you pushed me away
You can only hope you'll get me back one day
You always think about me
But you can never be with me
You didn't love me the way you should
You didn't do all that you could
All that's left is a memory
A broken heart and a memory
The nights we shared
Can never be compared
You can never get back
To the course where you threw us off the track
You hurt me worse than I've ever been hurt before
You killed me when you walked out that door
You left me alone with a 60 of Rye
And nothing but a prayer to die
All the flowers around us died
I was left lifeless, completely dead inside
This poem was written about an ex-girlfriend who hurt me and she still rmemebers and misses the little things about me.
