Sun - back from Singapore
Mon- ??
Tuesday- Went out to Putrajaya to meet up with Che Keong and Lanie in Cyberjaya
On the way over we passed people doing the traditional Muslim slaughter ceremony. These 6 cows were outside an apartment building.

First jump on your cow, keep it on the ground (click to enlarge)

while the guy cuts the throat

It wouldn't be legal in the UK where you have to stun the cow and kill it very quickly in a hygenic enviroment. It wasn't so bad; the cows took 2 minutes to die. The corpse kicked for a minute after that. Surely they should have pulled the legs up in the air to drain the blood faster, and therefore kill it faster.

Seems the Cyberjaya project is not a roaring success., A lot of it has been built Multimedia University etc and construction is continuing, but the area is big and had a few companies it's not exactly buzzing. Lanie is lucky to have a great view from her apartment over the lake to Putrajaya the new capital just 1Km away.

What I have been reading/listening to/watching
Finished reading my book Across China By:Peter Jenkins 1986 not bad

Five Live : Listened to Richard Dawkins (famous UK Evolutionist and social commentator) interview on the radio. Yes apply the same logical principles and agree with almost everything he says.
